A meeting on “Anticorruption” was held in the conference hall of the Institute on January 4, 2019.
The professor of “Social sciences” department Q.Muftaydinov and associate professor M.Nazarov spoke at the meeting and gave information about the law “On fighting against corruption” adopted on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev, and suggested that corruption was a great threat to the socio-economic development of the country, which destroys the moral and ethical bases of society and destroys people’s trust in government and government, undermines the idea of reform, and harms the citizens’ participation in managing public and state affairs.
The vice rector on educational affairs Q.Ermatov made a speech and said that winter semester was coming and transparency should be provided by all teachers on the assessment of students in the current, intermediate and final controls, to take measures to prevent various negative consequences at the meeting.
The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, department heads, deans of the faculties and 221 professors and teachers in total.
